Westport Youth Services, Westport Prevention Coalition, and collaborating partners will host a free community presentation on Wednesday, September 25th at 7 PM at Westport Town Hall on Vaping w/ Tricia Dahl, Senior Research Assistant at the Yale University School of Medicine.
Declared an “epidemic” among youth by U.S. Surgeon General, Dr. Jerome Adams, the long term consequences of vaping/e-cigarette use are still being uncovered. Join us as we welcome Tricia Dahl from Yale University’s Tobacco Center of Regulatory Science, who has been working for the past five years on the only federally funded research studies on vaping/e-cigarette use among youth. This program will address how we got to this point, what we now know, and will debunk some of the popular myths around vaping. Including what our student athletes need to know about the impact on performance and recovery time.
Parents are strongly encouraged to bring your students. Due to the popularity of this speaker, registration is strongly recommended to guarantee entry. Please register at or call/email Kevin Godburn at (203)341-1055 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
